Art 116 will definitely help me in the future with my major. In Finance, you have to work with computers and other technology often. This class has helped me to become more comfortable with different things. The most obvious one I can think of is the use of keyboard shortcuts. Before this class, I rarely used these. However, after using them a lot in projects, I realized how essential they can be in saving time. Besides shortcuts and being more comfortable with my laptop, this class has taught me to be more creative. Looking back at my first project, I was too scared to take risks and just used the basic tools. After really putting in effort, I realized that anything can be made, it just takes time and patience to create it.

My portfolio cover is my dog. I chose him because he's very cute plus throughout the class I have always thought about trying to recreate something that was actually living compared to easy things, such as fruits or shapes. However, I don't think the art that I created gives his cuteness justice. As for my portfolio itself, I chose to give it a very basic and standard feeling and design. Since I'm not looking for a job nor chose this class for fun, I feel like anyone can get the sense that I kind of had to make these.
